Water Treatment Systems (WTS)

Amazon offers water treatment technologies for complete treatment of raw water from rivers, wells, lakes, etc. The treatment process removes particulate matter, traces of color, odor, organics, dissolved inorganics, etc.

The technologies include disinfection, coagulation-flocculation, sedimentation, filtration, adsorption, ion-exchange and reverse osmosis.

In collaboration with GE Water Technologies world leaders in water treatment chemicals, Amazon offers water treatment programs. These programs include anti-corrosion, anti-scalants, defoamers, dispersants, etc


Primary Treatment Systems (PTS)

Amazon provides the complete range of Primary Treatment processes which include screening, grit removal, oil & grease removal, flow equalization / neutralization, stripping, flocculation and sedimentation (including high rate contact sedimentation). Amazon utilizes a variety of modern process technologies to give you optimum efficiency in the primary stage so that efficiency of the downstream units is maximized.


Secondary Treatment Systems (STS)

The secondary treatment reduces the organic load of the wastewater, i.e. the Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) and Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) of the waste water by biological means. Secondary Treatment technologies comprises of Anaerobic and Aerobic processes. Anaerobic treatment is normally recommended for high strength wastes.

The anaerobic process designs are based on either the Up-flow Anaerobic Sludge Blanket (UASB) or the Fixed Film design. Hybrid designs are also available.

The aerobic designs are based on the complete mix or attached growth processes. The oxygen is supplied using high efficiency fine pore ceramic or membrane based Diffused Aeration Systems. Diffused aeration options include floor mounted grid systems or floating type retrievable diffuser systems.


Advanced Biological Treatment Systems(ATS)

Advanced treatment options are available for removal of Nutrients like nitrogen, Phosphorous, etc.


Tertiary Treatment Systems (TTS)

Tertiary Treatment Systems comprise of treatment methodologies for treatment of biologically treated waste water to a level where the water can be safely used for purposes like irrigation, toilet flushing, cooling tower make-up, process use, etc.

The treatment processes comprise of disinfection, filtration, adsorption, ion-exchange, micro / ultra filtration systems and reverse osmosis systems.


Sewage Reclamation Systems

The compact sewage treatment cum recycle plant is ideal for hotels, resorts, office complexes and small communities, etc. The treatment is based on the contact stabilisation process or conventional activated sludge process.

The treatment process comprises of Sewage Collection, screening, biological treatment, clarification, disinfection, chemical coagulation, filtration, adsorption and ion exchange.


Package Treatment Systems

Amazon offers Package Treatment plants in MS construction custom built to meet specific treatment requirements. The use of technologies like Dissolved air Flotation (DAF), Fixed Film Aerobic Process (FFAP), etc., ensure that the footprint area of the plant is minimized. The plants are available in skid mounted and containerized modules for easy and quick installation.


Advanced Technology Aeration / Mixing Systems

Amazon offers ceramic and membrane based aeration / mixing systems. The diffused aeration systems are based on the Environmental Dynamics Inc. (EDI) design. The diffused aeration systems are based on energy efficient fine pore diffused aeration system technology and offer 30 to 40 % savings in operating costs over conventional aeration systems.


Heavy Metal Removal / Recovery (HMR)

The dissolved metals like Chromium, Cyanide, Ferrous, Nickel, Mercury, etc. resulting from processes such as electroplating, galvanizing, painting (automotive paint shops), etc. have high levels of toxicity and are hazardous in nature. Amazon provides treatment and recovery solutions for such wastes.


Sludge Handling Systems (SHS)

The sludge (organic and inorganic solids) treatment is designed to reduce the quantity of solids that are generated as the by products of primary, secondary, and tertiary treatment systems. The treatment comprises of thickening, conditioning and dewatering.

Amazon offers complete sludge handling systems comprising of thickeners, chemical dosing systems, digesters, centrifuges, filter press, drying beds etc. to process the waste solids and downstream process such as vermiculture, composting, incineration, etc.


Consultancy Services

Advisory services in planning, construction, operation and maintenance of treatment plants including trouble shooting of existing plants and low cost methods for upgradation of existing treatment facilities.
